How big will they get?
This chart is an example of what size to expect. The size is dependant on the genes of the sire, dam, and the presence of the chondrodysplasia gene.

How much space do they need?
Depending on the size of your calf, you will need at least a quarter of an acre of grazeable forage for one minautre cow. If your pasture or yard is not forgeable, you'll want to supplement with hay and proper minerals. It is essential that they have acess to adequate hay and fresh water at all times. We wish everyone had the opportunity to give a home to these sweet babies, but it is in their best interest to have ample space to roam and we won't be able to sell to those who are not in a positon to offer them the space they need.
Can I keep one in my house?
Social media can be misleading and we want to educate people that these bovine creatures are not meant to live inside houses, as fun as that sounds! Some miniature breeders will advertise how tiny their calves are, but fail to mention that they will grow and mature to be at least 36" tall and require space to run, graze, and roll around as they please. Ever heard the saying bull in a china shop?...
I highly reccomended building or buying a three sided shelter or structure for your calf to escape the elements. Our cattle have acess to a covered barn and that might as well be their own personal palace!
