Welcome to the Rutherford Rodeo
In 2024, my husband and I set out on a wild ride from the coast to the country. We swapped surfing in a small town in San Clemente for ranching in Red Bluff, Northern California. We are proud to own 15 acres on the Sacremento River. I fell in love with miniature cattle and we purchased Cash, our first highland bull calf, right after we moved into our first home. Some may say we jumped the gun on purchasing a bull calf in the midst of a major change for a couple of newlyweds, but I think we couldn't have picked a more perfect time. We fell in love with ranching and hope to bring the same joy to others that Cash has brought us.
We are proud to say that our cows spend their days grazing the pastures and roaming wherever they like along the creek. We believe that keeping our cattle connected to nature is the best way to ensure they live long and healthy lives.
Cash, the little guy that started it all
We purchased Cash from our friend Johan at Boujee Cattle Co. He was the pick of the auction and had outstanding color, confirmation, and genetics. He is the sweetest little bull and will grow to be around 40'' tall. He's tiny but mighty!
